Philips Lumea Precision is a one-stop, long-term hair removal system that is suitable for the face and body. The device uses Intense Pulse Light (IPL) technology to stimulate the hair follicle into a resting phase, causing it to shed naturally while regrowth is inhibited. After an initial treatment of the target area, repeating the process every four to six weeks will keep skin smooth and hair free. Many IPL devices are designed to be used on the body as facial skin is too delicate, but Philips has developed a dual filter facial attachment that offers new levels of safety and prevents skin reactions.
