The new Excite variant reflects the true credentials of the Lynx brand and builds upon the heritage of its two best sellers, Africa and Dark Temptation, to create an addictive fragrance. The range was given a stylish and attention grabbing black and dark purple pack to create some drama on shelf. The launch was backed by a £8.32million marketing campaign across print, TV, digital, PR, gaming and OOH. The success of the launch is clear as it is now the second best selling fragrance in the range (IRI data July 2011).
