Hair raising

Pantene Pro-V has partnered with Cancer Hair Care, a UK charity dedicated to helping women living with hair loss as a result of cancer treatment, in a bid to expand the charity’s nationwide reach.

PanteneThe partnership aims to provide the 100,000 women in the UK who deal with hair loss issues following cancer treatment with new information resources including step-by-step videos, useful guidance sheets and support videos from women who have undergone cancer treatment. The resources will be available on Cancer Hair Care’s website, www.cancerhaircare.com. Pantene Pro-V ambassador Cat Deeley (pictured), the face of the partnership, says: “Often one of the first things women think about when they’ve been diagnosed with cancer is losing their hair. They believe it’s a symbol of their femininity and health, so to start losing it becomes a huge hurdle. The work Cancer Hair Care is doing, together with Pantene Pro-V’s support, is absolutely invaluable. I am so proud that I am able to help promote awareness about this charity.” The Pantene Pro-V Classic Care range will feature the Cancer Hair Care logo on pack from August, and five pence of every sale will go directly to the charity.
