At a recent CEW breakfast briefing, Annalise Quest, general merchandise manager for beauty at Harrods, cited ‘techno beauty’ – electrical beauty appliances – as the fastest growing category in beauty, stating: “It’s by far our fastest growing category at Harrods, and I think from a luxury perspective, now that the clinical trials are really backing up [claims] that the results are equally good as what you would receive from a professional treatment, that’s just driving it even further.
