Carmex lip balm was invented way back in 1937 by a man called Alfred Woelbing. He came up with the formula in his own kitchen and continued to produce the classic balm from his home for 20 years, before the company was moved to bigger premises. 70 years on and the brand has introduced its first premium lip balm, Carmex Moisture Plus, which also marks the first time the brand has added lip colour to its balm products. Available in three sheer tints; Clear, Peach and Pink, Carmex Moisture Plus contains an ultra hydrating formula of vitamin E, aloe, shea and avocado butter, along with SPF15 for additional protection. Carmex Moisture Plus also features a slant tip applicator for precise application. Lips are left intensely moisturised with a satin gloss finish and a hint of colour.
